This vintage fabric is exquisite! A rare find, a vintage dresser scarf from Scotland. An equal blend of wool and rayon which makes it velvety smooth to the touch, very lightweight, and warm!
Gray scuba suede trims the front and neck areas and hand-stitched gray rawhide goes along the edge. The closure is a magnet, easy peasy!
Both the front and back of this wrap have snaps along the sides. When snapped closed, "sleeves" are created to keep the fabric in check. Unsnapped, the front pieces can be wrapped around each other, pulled to the back, fastened with a pin or belt, including the back part, or let the back piece drape forming a cape.
You can also wear the wrap as a shawl by wrapping the front pieces around your neck and draped across your front. Play around, have fun.
