The vintage embossed cotton lace on this kimono is worth more than the kimono itself. For me, that is, directly out of Grammy's stash. Knowing where it came from, it was probably produced in the early 1900s.
The lace is a beautiful cut-out design, with puffed embroidery in the center. Treasures from the past!
A soft mint green polyester jacquard fabric makes up the body of the midriff-ending kimono. No closure; it is made to wear open.
Great for a hot summer evening when you want a simple outfit dressed up just a little bit!
The fabric is exceptionally lightweight, and the weight of the cotton lace keeps it laying flat down the front.
Kimono fabric is 100% high-grade polyester for easy wear and care.
Included with the kimono is a silk and cotton washable mask. Lightweight and self-adjustable 1/16" elastic ear/head straps.
Care: Hand wash, cool temperature. Remove excess water with a towel and lay flat to dry. Use an iron set on synthetic if needed for the cotton trim.
Garment fabric was machine washed and dried before and after construction.
