100% Lambswool from the Tweedmill mills in the historic county of Flintshire along the River Dee. Lambswool is a  sustainable, renewable source of fabric that offers comfort, warmth, and rain repellence.

Tweedmill used broad looms, so this wrap is wider than most, 52 inches across and 74 inches long; a lot of warmth to wrap around yourself.

Lightweight, not scratchy even though it appears so, with a very slight lanolin smell, this fabric is sure to please.

The front is trimmed with hand-stitched and hand-braided rawhide stopping at a floral scroll metal tab. Black Onyx, black tassels, and silver filigree beads hang from rawhide attached to the tabs.

Black cotton binding covers the inside facing seam stitching, and the wrap is hand-fringed along the side and bottom edges.

Snaps are located along the sides of the wrap. When snapped closed, "sleeves" are created to keep the fabric in check. Unsnapped, the front pieces can be wrapped around each other, pulled to the back, fastened with a pin or belt, including the back part, or let the back piece drape forming a cape.

You can also wear the wrap as a shawl by wrapping the front pieces around your neck and draping across your front. Play around, have fun.
